Ruide’s Research Paper Won Third Prize of 13th Cable Material Conference

On October 18, the 13th Cable Material Conference was held in Lin'an, Hangzhou. At the meeting, Ruide's research paper "The Status Quo and Localization of F40 Cross- linked Material Technology" won the third prize of the conference, and was included in the conference papers collection.

This paper analyzes the status quo of the application of Ethylene Tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) at home and abroad, the development of flexible cross linkable ETFE (XL-ETFE) with low fluoride offgassing and 100% localization of production, pointing out that after decades of tracking and development, especially in the past decade, China has made great progress in the development and production of XL-ETFE, and many of the indicators have reached the level of imported products.

With the cooperation and communication with a large number of domestic special cable customers, end users and testing institutions, Ruide has accumulated rich experience in the research and development of XL-ETFE series products, and developed XL-ETFE, flexible XL-ETFE, XL-ETFE with low fluoride offgassing and conductive XL-ETFE to meet customers’ requirements. We have also succeeded in developing qualified 100% domestic XL-ETFE and a variety of color masterbatches required for these products, forming a capacity of 400 tons/year and related analysis and evaluation systems and production management systems. We have passed the ISO9001 management system certification, and conduct strict process control of related products in accordance with the requirements of the system. The above products have been delivered to a large number of domestic cable companies and have been highly recognized by our customers.
