On October 27, Ruide New Materials Technology (Foshan) Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Ruide") and Foshan (South China) Institute for New Materials (hereinafter referred to as "the Institute") officially signed an agreement at Laiyin Science and Technology Park to reach strategic cooperation on the R&D of polymer materials.
In the afternoon, Yong Liu, Executive Vice President of the Institute, and his delegation visited Ruide, where they were firstly shown to the extrusion work shop, and deeply impressed by Ruide's ability in the research and development and production of polymer materials.
In the signing and discussion session, Ruide’s General Manager Chenggang Long introduced that Guangzhou Ruide was established in 2004, focusing on fluorine, PEEK and TPI/PI and other high value-added materials modification, as well as aviation cable equipment and solutions. From 2008 to 2021, Ruide Changzhou, Ruide Chengdu, Ruide Tokyo and Ruide Foshan were established successively to provide quality products and services for customers in different regions. At present, the company's main businesses include high performance cable materials, medical materials and hydrogen energy materials, etc., and it is gradually growing into a comprehensive supplier of special polymer materials.
Yong Liu also gave a detailed introduction to the institute. It is a new type of research and development institution in Guangdong Province jointly built by Foshan Municipal Government, School of Materials Science and Engineering of Tsinghua University and Nanhai District Government. Focusing on five industrial fields of electronic information materials, new energy materials, energy saving and environmental protection materials, biomedical materials and intelligent manufacturing, the Institute has built a high-level industry-university-research base including scientific research, pilot, and project incubation. It has also introduced a group of high-level talent industrialization project teams, including the academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, National Outstanding Young Talents, and the talents of the “National 10,000 Talent Plan".
Since its establishment, Ruide has always attached great importance to scientific research investment, and has long-term partnerships with universities and scientific research institutions such as South China Normal University and Zhengzhou University, and is committed to continuous innovation of products and technologies.
In the future, Ruide will work with Foshan (South China) Institute for New Materials to cooperate on the fields such as high-performance cable materials, polymer materials of medical consumables and hydrogen energy materials. With the research advantages of the Institute, we will further enhance the competitiveness of our products and contribute to the development of China's new materials industry.
